In Blumenau old, over 20 craft breweries responded by home production, catering events ranging from dances and family parties. Gradually, however, this production has been "absorbed" by larger companies.

Brewery BierlandWhen it began producing in 2003, Bierland invested in the most modern equipment for beer production and now produces 60,000 liters / month. Glass walls separate the factory bar, which is attached to the factory. So visitors can follow the process of manufacturing degustam while the flavors of the varieties of beers Pilsen, Bock and Weißen.

Borck BreweryBrewery with legitimate German tradition, which found the vocation of Brunhard Borck space in 1996, realizing a dream, in Timbó. Its unique formula is the result of meticulous research involving modern equipment, latest technology and imported raw materials. The Borck produces a beer differentiated: the Pilsen, purest and Borck. It is the oldest brewery in the region.

Eisenbahn BreweryFounded in 2002, the Eisenbahn sought the best raw material available in Europe and a German master brewer with 30 years experience, trained in the most prestigious university of brewers in the world, Weihenstephan, Germany. Produces a range of 11 beers, including the Lust, beer made by the method champenoise, a liqueur made from beer, only one in Brazil. Heimat Brewery German immigrant, Paul Nuber brought in 1932 from his hometown in Germany, Lindau, your prescription for craft beer. Brewery SchornsteinThe building has preserved the chimney which gives its name to the brewery.Inaugurated on June 8, 2006, the brewery came Schornstein to further strengthen the tradition and style of the German town of Pomerode.
